Center Line Cutter

In the production of aerated concrete blocks, the "green" cakes are cut into certain stone formats using a cutting line. Thanks to SKM, the cutting system can be extended by a new accessory.

Cutting line with additional possibilities

How can you tell the difference between an aerated concrete cutting plant without and one with a center line cutter? Answer: to the stone formats. SKM’s additional device allows new stone lengths and is thus more than a sensible addition.

The additional device, installed between the horizontal and cross cutters, is an excellent extension of the existing cutting line since it allows the cake to be divided into new dimensions and stone lengths.

SKM offers the engineering, the production, the automation as well as the assembly on site. The middle section as an innovation from SKM was developed as a special machine for a German aerated concrete factory. SKM is about to install center line cutters in five other German factories.
